The Museum of Urban Life (Bulgaria) - short information

In the famous House of Kaliopa a permanent exposition of the Historical Museum is arranged, dedicated to the urban culture, influenced by the fashion in Europe in the period between the 19-th and 20-th centuries. Home decoration and collections of household cutlery are displayed there. Kaliopa is said to have been a woman of exceptional beauty with whom Mithad pasha used to be in love.
